On a bad asthma day, I feel like trash. Not the eco-friendly kind, but like a Soviet-era public trash bin. This iconic bin design was everywhere across the USSR and throughout the 90s. I was born in Riga in 1992, right after the collapse of the USSR, and the 90s here felt like a festival of trash in many parts of life. This bin is a symbol capturing both the period and that trashy feeling.
